Located 40 minutes east of Los Angeles, the city of Ontario offers an abundance of shopping, recreational and cultural attractions that attract visitors year-round. Ontario Mills Mall is a shopper's haven, as it features 23 anchor stores and more than 200 specialty shops, as well as restaurants and a 30-theater cinema. Scandia Amusement Park is a popular destination for all ages, as it boasts 25 thrilling rides, in addition to a miniature golf course and batting cages. A popular cultural attraction is the Museum of History & Art, which educates visitors on the art and cultural traditions of the greater Ontario area. Outdoor fun can be found at Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park, a day-use area that offers fishing, a picnic area, a swimming area and boat rentals. Two golf courses are also located in Ontario, the Creekside and Whispering Lakes, each offering a challenging round of golf.
